General interest in updating a will and other estate documents, particularly medical power of attorney and durable general power of attorney, has grown as this virus continues its spread.  If you are wanting to get a will, make changes to your will, or discuss any other document needs, we are still available for you.  Our office is making use of Zoom, FaceTime, phone conferences, or whatever method best suits our clients’ needs.  We are still open and still working to take care of your legal needs.

If you would like to schedule a time to discuss your legal needs, please reach out to us.  We can visit by phone and we can exchange information and drafts of documents by email.  Keep in mind that medical documents are especially important right now.  A medical power of attorney will allow someone to make a medical decision for you if you are unable to do so.  A HIPAA release will allow your family and/or friends to have access to your medical records if you are unable to grant permission verbally.

As always, we provide a free consultation, just Contact Us about Estate Planning.  Let us answer your questions and help you avoid the misinformation floating around the internet.
